  • Maximum Marks: 100
  • Time Duration: 60 Minutes
  • Marking scheme: 1(one) mark for each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: 1/4th marks will be deducted for incorrect answer.

IBPS Clerk Mains Examination


Successful candidates who have cleared the Preliminary cut off will be called for Mains examination. It is to be noted that only those candidate who will clear the respective cutoff made by the board will be called for Mains examination.

The mains exam is tougher than the preliminary. It will consist of a total 190 questions and the total time allotted is 160 minutes. Document Verification


If you have cleared both the Preliminary and Mains Examination then relax it’s your time to join the job. A list of all the selected candidates (State-wise) will be declared on the official website of IBPS. After clearing all the Cut off one needs to visit the centre allotted by the recruitment authority for document verification. You will need these documents to be carried along with you.

Provisional Allotment


The shortlisted candidates will be issued a provisional allotment letter. One must keep in mind that in order to be shortlisted for provisional allotment process, the candidates should qualify in the main examination and be sufficiently high in the merit list. Qualified candidates will be provisionally allotted to one of the Participating Organisations and allotment will be based on merit-cum-preference.
