Eligibility Criteria

The Details regarding essential and desirable qualification and the complete eligibility criteria for KVS Principal Recruitment post like Age Limit, Relaxation of Age, Mode of Selection and other related information are given below:

  • Master Degree from a recognized university with at least 45% marks in aggregate
  • B.Ed or equivalent teaching degree
Experience
  • The person holding analog posts or posts of principal in central/ State Govt./ Autonomous organizations of Central / State Govt. in the pay level-12(Rs.78800- 209200)
  • Vice-Principal/ Asstt. Education Officers in Central/ State Govt./Autonomous organization of central/ State Govt. in the pay level-10(Rs. 56100-177500) with combined service of 5 Years as PGT and 2 Years as Vice- Principal.
  • Persons holding posts of PGTs Lecturer in central/state govt./ Autonomous organization of Central/ State Govt. in the pay level-8(Rs. 47,600- 15100/-) or equivalent with at least 8 years regular service in the aforesaid grade.
  • 15 years combined regular services as TGT in the Pay Level-7(Rs. 44900-142400) and PGT in the pay level-8(Rs. 47600- 151100) out of which 3 years as PGT.
Desirable Knowledge Knowledge of Computer Application.
Age Limit Minimum 35 years and Maximum 50 Years as on 31.09.2018. Age relaxation for SC./ST and other categories as applicable under the Govt. of India Rules.
