A. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan comes under the HRD ministry. It is under the direct control of the central government.

Q. Does KVS recruit every year?

A. Yes, KVS conducts recruitment exam for teaching and non-teaching staff every year.

Q. Can the candidates apply for different posts?

A. Yes, the candidates can apply for different posts i.e., PGT, TGT or PRT. But the candidate can’t apply for the different subjects in the same posts i.e., for the subjects Science & Mathematics for TGT post.

Q. Is CTET necessary for KVS?

A. CTET is not mandatory for the PGTs posts but CTET Paper-2 is required for the TGTs posts and
CTET Paper-1 is required for the PRTS posts.

    female candidates in KVS ? My daughter has completed 35 years. She want to apply for TGT ART EDUCATION. She is graduate in fine art from Zamia M I Delhi.
