Essential QualificationThe Candidate should have studied any two subjects out of the following: (i) History with at least 50% marks in aggregate and one subject out of the Geography/Economic/Political Science with at least 50% marks in graduation (ii) Geography with 50% marks with history/Economic/Political Science with at least 50% marks in aggregate and also atleast50% marks in graduation Geography/ History should have been studied in all the years of graduation with at least 50% marks. In case of an honours degree in history, the candidates should have studied geography/Economics/Political science in the first and second year of graduation with at least 50% marks in aggregate and at least 50% in aggregate at graduation level.
Desirable KnowledgeKnowledge of Computer Application.
Compulsory SubjectAny two of the following: History, geography, Economics and Pol. Science of which one must be either History or Geography.
Age Limitmaximum 35 Years as on 31.08.2018. Age relaxation for SC./ST and other categories as applicable under the Govt. of India Rules.

  • All the concession mentioned above will be concurrent i.e. if a person is eligible for more than one concession, only one of the concessions of the highest permissible limit will be granted.
  • On completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within one year) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconducted or inefficiency; or
  • On account of physical disability attributable to military service or on invalided shall be allowed maximum relaxation of five years in the upper age limit

For groups ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts, the Ex-serviceman who has put in not less than months continuous service in an armed force (Army, Navy and Air force) shall be allowed to deduct the period of such service from his/her actual age.
