Eligibility Criteria

Let’s read the eligibility criteria for the recruitment of RBI Assistant 2020 Vacancy.

Nationality

  •  A Citizen of India or Bhutan or Nepal.
  • Tibetan refugee
  • Those who have migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Education Qualification

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates)
    in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.
  • A candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen category (except dependents of ex-servicemen) should either be a graduate
    from a recognized University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service.
  • Candidates applying for the post in a particular recruiting office should be proficient in the language (i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state/ any of the states falling under the recruiting office.

Age Criteria

  • Minimum Age: 20 years
  • Maximum Age:  28 years

Note:  Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/12/1991 and not later than 01/12/1999 (both days including) are only eligible to apply. Age Relaxation for PWD and Backward Classes as mentioned by the government of India notification.

1st Stage: RBI Assistant Preliminary Examination

2nd Stage: Biometric verification

  • It has been decided to capture the biometric data (thumb impression or otherwise) and a photograph of the candidates on the day of the Main Examination for the candidates who qualify after the preliminary examinations and appear for the main examination.
  • The decision of the Biometric data verification authority with regard to its status (matched or unmatched) shall be final and binding upon the candidates.
  • Further, Biometric verification will also be conducted at the time of document verification and
    may also be carried out at any of the stages, as Bank may dim fit. In the event of mismatched of verification of biometric
    data, the candidature of the candidate will be treated as cancelled and he/she will not be considered for the selection process.

3rd Stage: RBI Recruitment 2020 Mains Examination

Successful candidates who have cleared the Preliminary cut off will be called for Mains examination. It is to be noted that only those candidate who will clear the respective cutoff made by the board will be called for Mains examination. 4th Stage: Language Proficiency Test

If you have cleared both the Preliminary and Mains Examination then relax it’s your time to join the job. A list of all the selected candidates (State-wise) will be declared on the official website of RBI. The candidates provisionally selected for the main online examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). The language proficiency test will be conducted in the Official / Local Language of the State concerned (Annex-IV). Candidate not proficient in the Official/Local Language would be disqualified.
